Cagney is very playful and will play for a while then nap. He is very food oriented, will sit and do stay for any kind of treat until you stop giving treats away. He eats in his crate and knows to get in the crate on his own. He goes potty outside on his own but if the dog door is closed he will sit next to the door waiting. If you don’t pay attention he will paw at the door to get your attention.
He loves to play with her foster sister, they share toys and bones, run around chasing each other, play fight, take naps on the same dog bed and sleep next to each other at night. He is very loving and likes to cuddle and give licks on his human’s faces. He loves to explore and doesn’t seem to be bothered by water. He tries to play with the older dogs and respects when they tell him ‘leave me alone’. Cagney likes all toys, he even found some old ones hidden somewhere in the backyard. He seems to like balls and squeaking toys, including a teddy bear he sometimes sleeps on.
*Puppies will only be adopted to a home with a preexisting adult dog, no children under age five, no unfenced pools, and where the puppy will not be home alone for long hours. Do not fill out an application for a puppy if you do not meet ALL requirements. Your application will be immediately denied and will not be processed.
