Strut Your Mutt with NCBR!

NorCal Boxer Rescue is very excited to be participating in the Strut Your Mutt event in San Francisco on October 3, 2015! This fantastic event, which includes a walk, a 5K run, and dog-themed festivities, benefits animal shelters and rescues (including NorCal Boxer Rescue), and Best Friends, the nation's only animal welfare organization dedicated exclusively to ending the killing of pets in shelters.

Our participation will help NCBR continue our mission of rescuing boxers in need, but we need YOUR participation too! Help support NCBR by joining our team or making a donation today!

Register for our team by August 3rd and get 25% off your registration fee using the code "NPTeam!"

Make Your Mark on the Park!

Western El Dorado Country CA recently opened its first off-leash dog park. You can leave your “mark on the park,” which will help raise money for grading of the land, fencing, a cooling station, benches and more, by participating in their “Buy-A-Brick” program. All bricks will be placed in the park for all to see.

Tribute bricks are a great way to memorialize your four-legged family members and are available until the end of 2015.

Visit the El Dorado Dog Owners Guild for complete details.

Our Mission: Leave No Boxer Behind.

NorCal Boxer Rescue provides a temporary sanctuary for boxers in need throughout California. Boxers come to us from shelters and from owners who are no longer able to care for them. We provide these animals with veterinary care, spay/neuter surgeries, vaccinations, a microchip, a temporary foster home at a private residence, lots of love, and placement into a carefully screened home forever.

NCBR is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is run entirely by a dedicated group of volunteers who have an unmatched love for preserving this wonderful breed. If you have a heart for animals, we invite you get involved in whatever capacity you can.
