Before
Northern California Boxer Rescue (NCBR) will facilitate
any surrender of a Boxer by its owner, owner must provide
the following:
1) Complete
the surrender form and return the signature page of
the form via U.S. mail or e-mail to NCBR
2) Supply documentation
that Boxer had been spayed or neutered
3) Supply documentation
that Boxer is current on all immunizations including
DHLPP, Corona, Rabies, and Bordatella
4) Supply documentation
that Boxer is heartworm negative and on heartworm prophylaxis.
5) Owner must
further agree to keep the Boxer in their home until
NCBR finds an appropriate adopter. This is due to the
consistent overwhelming population of boxers in our
local shelters in danger of euthanization. (We must
keep our foster homes open for these boxers).
6) Owner also
agrees to pay NCBR a $100.00 fee to help facilitate
and adoption.
7) Owner agrees
to inform us of any health and behavioral concerns with
the dog and to sign a surrender contract giving up all
rights to the dog.
Once NCBR receives all
of the above listed documentation, NCBR will place a
picture of Boxer on NCBR web site with a description
of Boxer's habits.
